Datafication is enabling emerging of Digital transformation through the use of technology to radically improve performance or reach of enterprises. Successful Digital transformation revitalises existing strategic assets putting them into new business models (digitally-modified businesses) together with transforming customer experience and improved operational processes. In business ecosystems, created across traditional boundaries, innovative products and services emerge that organisations introduce in order to comprehensively fulfil the needs of customers. The datafication is not only a digitalisation; it is the process of putting any phenomenon into a quantified format, suitable for future analysis. Big data analysis, as well as creativity and innovativeness, is widely used as the driving force of new products and services development both in public and in business sectors.
